¡A morder escudos!

To bite shields!

The berserker were fearsome Viking warriors who fought covered in bearskins or wolfskins under a state of psychotic trance and blind fury called berserksgangr. Insensitive to pain, fear and fatigue, with an almost supernatural strenght, they snarled on grimaces and used to foam at the mouth and to bite their shields, there was nothing to stop them in their path of destruction. Being a witness of such activity should be really scary and startling, even it is believed that berserker is the origin of the legends of werewolves. His very presence frightened even his fellow soldiers, because in this trance they don't distinguished between allies and enemies.

In this historical figure is inspired our dry mead since it brings out the complicated side of this ancestral drink. Just because mead is made with honey, doesn’t mean the drink needs to forever revel in the sweet, playful side of flavors. Dry meads have a very low, or sometimes no levels of residual sugar and high alcohol content. If your palate is more adept to dry wine, this is the drink... of course, if you dare to.
